Lock or unlock a tax return. To Lock or Unlock a Tax Return

        1. Open a tax return.

        2. From the top menu, select Return->Lock/Unlock.

The lock status of the return will be toggled:

         a. If the tax return was locked, it will be unlocked.

         b. If the tax return was unlocked, it will be unlocked.
